Business Analyst – IFRS Capital Models:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst – IFRS Capital Models for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst – IFRS Capital Models - Job Description:

The project involves the OSFI capital models application (CMAP) process, which includes building a new platform to implement existing models. As a Business Analyst, you will support several critical core activities in the Capital models space and contribute to critical regulatory and transformational initiatives.

Business Analyst – IFRS Capital Models - Responsibilities:

Plan and manage initiatives
Map and/or re-engineer key processes, data flows, and/or business rules
Translate concepts into algorithms and architect implementation solutions by business needs and internal/regulatory policies and guidelines
Collaborate with a wide range of cross-bank stakeholders and internal partners

Business Analyst – IFRS Capital Models - Mandatory Skills:

10+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering/interpretation, process mapping, and data mapping
5+ years of experience with capital/IFRS 9 parameters and interpreting already built models
3-5 years of experience with SQL, able to write queries
Understanding fundamentals/process of data governance/data lineage
Expert-level skills with business productivity software
Act as a triage point between modeling requirements, business requirements, and IT implementation

Business Analyst – IFRS Capital Models – Nice-to-Have Skills:

Familiarity with credit risk models and scorecards
Experience with Python and SAS with both legacy/traditional and big data systems
An appreciation for advanced statistical approaches used to assess and address uncertainty

Business Analyst – IFRS Capital Models – Assignment Length:

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
