We’re now seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales operations across Scotland — someone with commercial acumen, leadership strength, and the drive to deliver sustainable growth.

About the Role:

This is a senior, hands-on leadership position that combines strategic oversight with operational execution. You’ll be responsible for shaping and driving the company’s sales strategy, managing a multi-site sales team, and ensuring HRN remains a trusted partner to our customers.

You’ll play a key role in building a high-performance culture, developing your team, and ensuring strong collaboration across departments to achieve both short- and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver HRN’s national sales strategy across construction and agricultural divisions
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and executives across multiple depots
Set and monitor clear performance targets, ensuring accountability and consistent delivery
Strengthen relationships with key customers and suppliers
Identify growth opportunities and new markets while maintaining profitability
Analyse performance data to inform decision-making and improve efficiency
Collaborate with Directors on pricing, stock planning, and brand representation
Represent HRN at major trade events, exhibitions, and customer visits

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role — ideally within construction and agricultural machinery
Strong commercial insight and negotiation skills
A natural leader who inspires, supports, and drives performance
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
Strong data and reporting skills, with confidence using CRM and sales management tools
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across Scotland
