Interim Assistant Accountant

£35,000 - £40,000 p.a.

12 month fixed-term contract

London W1 (4 days office / 1 day home)

We are working with a leading company based in London who are part of a larger, growing group of companies operating in the real estate sector.

They are seeking to recruit an accounts assistant with min. 2-3 years' experience in accounting to work in a team of ten, reporting to the finance manager.

This a one year fixed-term contract maternity cover position.

Main responsibilities

Fixed Assets
VAT / HMRC returns
Purchase Ledger invoicing and payments
Bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ad hoc project work

Your background

Min. 2 years' experience as an accounts assistant
Min. 5 GCSE's grade A-C
'Can do' attitude and wants to learn and progress
Works well in a team, supporting others
AAT studier (not essential)
Able to start a new position early Dec 2025
