Job Specifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Payments Tester to join our Global Banking & Markets team in Dallas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in performance testing, automation, and manual testing within the financial services domain. You will be responsible for validating functional behavior, benchmarking performance, and ensuring the reliability of payment systems through rigorous testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand technical and functional requirements of payment systems.
Design and execute automated and manual test cases.
Conduct performance benchmarking and load testing using industry-standard tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Contribute to the testing strategy, frameworks, and best practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery.

Must-Have Skills:

Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, LoadRunner (or HP ALM Performance Center), Gatling, NeoLoad.
Programming/Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Shell, or Groovy.
Testing Experience: Minimum 7 years in test automation and manual testing.
API Testing: Strong experience in testing RESTful APIs.
Performance Benchmarking: Expertise in load testing and analyzing performance metrics.
Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with databases such as Postgres, Snowflake, Oracle, or Sybase.
Exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS.
Experience in the Payments domain or broader Financial Services industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
