Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Officer based in Greater London, with some flexibility for remote work.
The Project Officer will support the coordination, reporting, and delivery of research, innovation, and industrial collaboration projects, ensuring that all activities align with Zyomax’s technical and strategic goals.
A key part of this role involves supporting business planning and strategic development activities, including the preparation of business plans, market assessments, and funding proposals that underpin Zyomax’s commercialisation strategy.
The successful candidate will work closely with researchers, engineers, and management to maintain project timelines, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and report writing abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of research, innovation, or engineering project environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
• Experience with UK or EU-funded projects (e.g., Innovate UK, Horizon Europe) is an advantage
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate project activities, meetings, and milestones
• Track project progress and prepare periodic reports
• Support budgeting, procurement, and compliance requirements
• Liaise with academic and industrial partners to maintain smooth project delivery
• Contribute to proposal preparation, documentation, and funding submissions
• Assist in internal communication and continuous improvement initiatives
