Title: Noise and Vibration Engineer

Location: Saline, MI

Duration: Long Term Contract

Position Description:

Noise and Vibration Requirements:

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop noise and vibration performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis.

Job Description:

Modification of vehicles using finite element models
Assembly of trim body and full vehicle finite element models
Analysis of acoustic and structural performance, root cause and mechanism for NV.
Study and develop countermeasures to improve NV performance.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience doing NV CAE using Altair Hypermesh or Beta CAE ANSA.
3+ years of experience doing NV CAE using MSC NASTRAN or BETA META Post for frequency response analysis.

General Requirements:

BS, MS, or PhD in engineering
3+ years of NV CAE experience

Preferred:

1+ year of Automotive engineering experience
Experience working in multicultural team environment
