Position is 95% offsite, but selected canidates must be available for in-office as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect 2 to join our Information Technology Services team. This role is instrumental in transforming DODD’s technology landscape by leading the design and implementation of a consolidated application platform leveraging Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions.

Position Summary

As a Senior Enterprise Architect 2, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable and efficient technology solutions that align with DODD’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce and MuleSoft, a strong background in software architecture, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Salesforce and MuleSoft Expertise

Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce and MuleSoft, staying up to date with platform features, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Lead the development and maintenance of the enterprise technical architecture utilizing Salesforce and MuleSoft.
Design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions aligned with business requirements and long-term goals.

2. Solution Design and Development

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to define solution requirements.
Develop detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation.
Oversee application and system architecture implementation to ensure code quality, scalability, and security.

3. Integration and Data Management

Architect and implement robust integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server, and other enterprise systems.
Design and manage data migration strategies from SQL Server to the State Data Lake, including data transformation and governance.
Ensure data security, compliance, and adherence to state and federal regulations.

4. Performance Optimization

Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Apply best practices to enhance system performance, stability, and reliability.

5. Leadership and Coaching

Mentor and guide members of the architecture and development teams.
Provide leadership and direction to technical leads across teams.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on architecture best practices and technology strategy.
