The MSK Physiotherapy service provides outpatient MSK services across Kent. We operate within four teams covering North Kent, Ashford, Canterbury and Thanet, South Kent Coast and West Kent.

We Are Recruiting For Posts In

North Kent team working between Gravesham Community Hospital and Sheppey Community Hospital
West Kent team working between Churchill Centre (Aylesford), Sevenoaks Hospital and Tonbridge Cottage Hospital. If you have a preferred location, please clearly state this at the top of the supporting information.

We provide outpatient MSK Physiotherapy services to the residents of our local area. Whilst working closely with our colleagues in other areas, to provide a Kent wide service. We form part of the Integrated Musculoskeletal (IMSK) service which incorporates the Community Orthopaedic and First Contact Practitioner team and, the Community Chronic Pain team.

Although full time hours are preferred, part time hours may be considered for a minimum of 30 hours over 4 days.

To manage a complex caseload of patients and maintain appropriate records under the supervision of a clinical lead physiotherapist.

To develop and maintain a good level of skill and knowledge in MSK Physiotherapy.

To provide supervision and development of physiotherapy students, apprentices, assistants, band 5s and peers. They will be expected to be involved in some service development projects.

To be actively involved in the running and future service development of the patient group sessions as provided by the service e.g. Back rehabilitation Class, ESCAPE knee class, shoulder class and Pilates.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, embrace change and innovation, work well under pressure and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

You will likely be required to travel across trust sites in a timely manner. A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required subject to the provisions of 2010 Equality Act.
