Job Summary
The InterDigital AI Lab in Silicon Valley is looking for motivated Ph.D. students for internships in Wireless Systems Research.
The AI Lab works on novel applications of AI and ML to improve video and wireless system performance. You will develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes and research ideas that tie machine learning and AI technologies with a broad range of signal processing and wireless technologies and will publish your work in leading conferences.

Qualifications
Ph.D. student in EE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
Publications and R&D experience in one or more of the following areas: Wireless systems research, applied AI/ML in wireless, optimization algorithms.
Proficiency in Python and strong programming/problem-solving skills.
Strong background in wireless communication and/or signal processing is highly desired.
Desirable Qualifications
Hands on experience with Software Defined Radios like Ettus B210, X310, etc., and Robot Operating System (ROS) running on devices like Rosbot, Turtlebot, etc.
Experience with over-the-air video transmission through wireless networks, demonstrating a practical understanding of the challenges and optimizations needed in real-life scenarios.
