Frontend Developer – React, Typescript, Python | Financial Payments | £800/day| Hybrid

We’re partnering with a leading financial services firm in the FinTech payment space that’s investing heavily in modernising its technology stack. With a new tech leader driving innovation, the focus is on building in-house systems that are scalable, reliable, and future-ready.

About the Role

This is first and foremost a frontend development position. You’ll take ownership of building and enhancing key client-facing applications using React, while working closely with back-end teams who use Python.

The work spans complex financial products, so you’ll have the chance to engage with both technical and business stakeholders across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Develop responsive, high-quality web interfaces using React.
Collaborate with back-end engineers working in Python to deliver seamless integrations.
Participate in design discussions and help modernise legacy front-end components.
Ensure code quality through testing and best practices.
Work in a collaborative, cross-functional global team (QA, BA, Dev).
Contribute ideas to improve usability, scalability, and performance.

Tech Stack

Front End: React, Typescript, SQL
Back End (exposure): Python, Azure, SQL

What We’re Looking For

Solid experience developing front-end applications with React
Understanding of React/ Typescript/ SQL/ Pyhton environments
Experience with end-to-end testing and agile practices
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
Financial Services/FinTech experience
