We are now looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across our Marine business by strengthening customer relationships, expanding our presence in newbuild and retrofit projects, and representing Evac towards key stakeholders in the French marine market. After a successful onboarding, the scope of the role is expected to expand beyond France in line with business growth and market opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements to ensure high levels of satisfaction while meeting established sales objectives, with an emphasis on demonstrating the unique value of Evac’s solutions.
Establish, manage, and strengthen relationships with shipyards, shipowners, designers, and other key industry stakeholders by aligning offerings with their business objectives and focusing on mutual value creation.
Identify emerging sales opportunities proactively and formulate strategies to secure new business, highlighting the tangible benefits and value delivered to customers.
Lead contract negotiations and oversee contractual agreements, ensuring full compliance with company policies and commercial goals, while articulating the value proposition throughout the negotiation process.
Promote and facilitate sales of Evac’s products, systems, and services directly to end users as well as through approved sales partners, emphasizing return on investment (ROI) and total cost of ownership advantages.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales Support, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and Project Management to enable seamless project execution and deliver maximum value to clients.
Maintain accurate records of sales data, forecasts, and customer profiles in CRM systems, in accordance with Evac procedures, tracking value-driven outcomes and feedback.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical or commercial field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marine or a related technical industry.
Proven track record in B2B sales and relationship management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Fluent in French and proficient in English (written and spoken).
Enthusiasm for sustainability, innovation, and green technologies.
Ability to travel regularly within France and occasionally abroad.
