DevOps Engineer (Azure) – £55,000 to £60,000 – Remote / Exeter Hybrid

A growing technology team is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help design, build and manage infrastructure across Azure and on-prem environments. You’ll be involved in automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture and DevOps best practices across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building and managing cloud and on-prem infrastructure (Azure-focused)
Designing secure, scalable hosting environments for business-critical applications
Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates or similar
Supporting hybrid cloud environments and application releases
Monitoring environments, responding to incidents and ensuring platform stability
Enforcing security, compliance and documentation best practices

What You’ll Need

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer (Azure essential)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates etc.)
Familiarity with PowerShell or Python scripting
Understanding of on-prem/cloud integration
Experience with containers (Docker) or Kubernetes (desirable)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Package

£55,000 – £60,000 salary

Remote-first with optional hybrid working in Exeter
