Looking for Azure Data Engineer with Databricks experience

Role : Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid(4days) - Toronto

Job type: 6+ Months - High possibility of Extention

Pay : CAD$65 /Hour

Start date : Immediate

Client : Financial(confidential)

Project Description:

Supporting the Acquisition team with end-to-end data and analytics needs for their campaigns. This includes building business cases, setting up the reporting infrastructure, and creating dashboards and reports to track key metrics and analyze campaign performance.

Key Skills & Tools:

Communication: Essential for understanding business needs and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Python, SQL, Spark, Tableau (or Power BI): Core tools used for working with the codebase, extracting data, and building dashboards.

Databricks & Azure Cloud: While experience here is helpful, it's not essential. The team has well-established tools and processes that allow new joiners with coding skills to quickly get up to speed with Azure Databricks.

Has Worked with business directly or solo contributor
Has experience building Tableau reporting solutions
Has experience working in Azure Databricks environment (knows Pyspark)
SQL, Python
Some Data Science (Machine Learning) knowledge or experience an asset

Previous Financial Institution experience is an asset.
