On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Capital Markets Application Support Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Capital Markets Application Support Analyst - Job Description:

You will be joining the Application Operations team within Capital Market Risk to provide analysis and second-level support for client and technical issues. The role involves maintaining production applications and managing day-to-day operational activities, including handling system outages and client questions.

Capital Markets Application Support Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Coordinate implementation plans for new and complex application updates

• Execute testing and validation with business users

• Develop modules and support data conversion, job scheduling, and testing

• Evaluate service requests for standard adherence and potential impact

• Resolve medium to highly complex production problems and identify root causes

• Monitor services for improvement opportunities and recommend solutions

• Prepare functional specifications for custom reports and interfaces

Capital Markets Application Support Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with Feedhub and Autosys

• 3-4+ years in Application Production Support

• Unix (KSH) and Windows PowerShell scripting

• ServiceNow for incident and change management

• Client-facing experience

• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

Capital Markets Application Support Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Jira (no-code scripting)

• Confluence

• Agile methodology exposure

Capital Markets Application Support Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite per week, with an additional Friday per month.
