We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Application Support Specialist with a strong background in Tissue/Cellular Pathology, Histology, or Histopathology. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridisation (ISH), who are passionate about delivering exceptional support and training to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert application, technical, and scientific support to customers and internal teams
Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to case resolution
Develop and implement sustainable solutions for technical support cases
Deliver comprehensive customer training sessions, both remotely and on-site
Conduct on-site support activities, including troubleshooting and workflow optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance

Required Expertise

Strong foundation in Tissue/Cellular Pathology, Histology, or Histopathology
Practical experience with IHC and ISH techniques
Familiarity with automated staining platforms such as:
Benchmark Ultra / Ultra Plus / XT
Bond
DAKO

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support cases simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset
