About The Department

The UK Sales Support and Business Development team provides essential pre- and post-sales support to wholesale clients, including Wealth Managers, Model Portfolio Service providers, Financial Advisers, Platform Service Providers, Global Financial Institutions, Private Banks and Strategic Accounts. Working closely with Business Development Directors and the Head of Sales Support, the team handles client inquiries, coordinates sales materials, and manages relationships with professional investors. Team members collaborate across departments and contribute to strategic projects and high-impact initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

How You Will Add Value

You will support wholesale clients with pre- and post-sales service.
You will produce client presentations and sales decks.
You will follow up on meetings and develop early-stage leads.
You will prepare materials for portfolio reviews and service meetings.
You will manage sales and client data including activity notes and mailing lists in Microsoft Dynamics.
You will attend or host client meetings.
You will monitor and respond to client requests via shared inbox.

Strategic Responsibilities

You will maintain accurate sales pipeline records.
You will build and update account plans and growth strategies.
You will track client news and adjust engagement plans.
You will respond to performance queries with internal teams.
You will support proposal and pitch submissions.
You will coordinate share class access with TA Oversight.
You will assist with onboarding and agreement updates.
You will ensure timely delivery of proposals.

Team & Collaboration

You will partner with Business Development Directors and Sales Support leadership.
You will collaborate with marketing, product, and portfolio teams.
You will contribute to departmental projects.
You will help organise internal and external events.
You will manage event follow-ups and administration.
You will participate in regular account reviews.

Experience, Education & Certifications

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

University degree preferred.
Investment Management Certificate (IMC) required; support provided.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong analytical and research capabilities.

Soft Skills

Clear and confident communication.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Flexible and client-focused approach.
Independent decision-making and high-quality output.
