Senior TypeScript Engineer – London – AI Start-up

Location: London (Hybrid)

Compensation: Up to £150K

Atarus have partnered with a rapidly growing YC-backed AI start-up looking to hire a Senior TypeScript Engineer. This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor of a company that’s already secured a strong seed round, launched with enterprise clients, and has ambitious growth plans over the next year.

You’ll be joining a small, senior founding team who are redefining how AI-powered software is built — already gaining traction with customers ranging from Series A startups to global tech giants.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building and shipping new product features end-to-end in TypeScript
Owning parts of the frontend and backend architecture
Collaborating closely with the founders on product and scaling decisions
Helping shape the company’s engineering standards and culture

Tech Stack

TypeScript | Next.js | React | Node.js | AWS | Python | FastAPI | LangChain

(You don’t need to know every tool — they’re looking for curious engineers who love to learn fast.)

Compensation & Equity

There are no preset limits on salary or equity. If you’re top-tier, they’ll match it.

What They’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience working with TypeScript (or impressive personal projects)
Strong knowledge of React and modern web development practices
Experience building scalable, high-performance web applications
A genuine builder mindset — someone who loves experimenting and learning quickly
Based in London (or able to work onsite when needed)
