Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting a dynamic workforce? We are looking for a dedicated People Administrator to join our growing People (HR) team. The role

As a People Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for employee and recruitment queries. Your exceptional administrative skills will ensure our People and talent operations run smoothly and effectively.

People

Onboarding and offboarding: Coordinate the end-to-end administrative process for all new starters and leavers, including pre-employment checks, contract generation, and system setup/closure

Data management: Maintain and update employee and payroll records within our HRIS (we use Iris Cascade) with meticulous accuracy, ensuring full compliance with data protection (GDPR) standards

Employee support: Act as the first point of contact for general employee and manager HR queries, providing timely and accurate information or directing/escalating as appropriate

Documentation: Prepare various documentation letters, and reports

Payroll input: Collate and process necessary monthly changes for payroll (e.g., starters, leavers, absences, and benefit changes)

Reporting: Assist the People team with reporting and data analysis upon request.

Talent

Advertising: Post and manage job adverts across various platforms (via our ATS)

Candidate management: Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience from application to offer

Scheduling and coordination: Efficiently coordinate all interview stages, managing calendars for candidates and hiring managers

Offer administration: Prepare and issue offer letters and employment contracts

About You

Experience: Proven administrative experience, ideally within a fast-paced HR/People function

Technical skills: Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS), ATS’, and Microsoft Office (in particular Word)

Attention to detail: Exceptional organisational skills and an unwavering commitment to accuracy and data integrity

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach

Discretion: A strong understanding of the need for confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information

Proactivity: A self-starter attitude, comfortable managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively.

Additional information

This is a fixed term contract (FTC) position for maternity cover (expected to be for 12 months). There is a possibility this role may become a permanent position.
