Work Mode: Hybrid

Job Description:

LSEG needs an Environment Manager who should be a JACK OF ALL (not expert in all) Environmental Related Technologies for understanding the environment requirements, troubleshooting, finding RCA, governance, and drive improvements with cloud expertise preferrable in AWS ( Azure can also be fine ).

Roles & Responsibilities of Environment Manager :

Oversee environment lifecycle: provisioning, configuration, baseline hardening, updates, and decommissioning.

Review environment provisioning requests and approve configurations against standards

Collaborate with development, QA and other stakeholders (like security, network teams) to ensure environment requirements and constraints are met.

Monitor cloud environment health, performance, and utilization; implement capacity planning and cost-optimization measures.

Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and internal audit requirements; maintain environment-related documentation and runbooks.

Coordinate incident response for environment- or infrastructure-related outages; manage post-incident reviews and remediation.

Prepare environment status reports, cost summaries, and risk assessments for stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, repeatability, and operational efficiency.

Primary Skills:

AWS Cloud Knowledge (Services like Instance, DB, IAM, Budget, Cost Explorer etc.)

Cloud Environment Management

Stakeholder Management

Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and their dashboards.

Familiarities on SRE practices, runbooks, and SLIs/SLOs/SLAs.

Secondary Skills:

Technical understanding of SQL

Understanding of identity and access management, secrets management, and cloud-native security controls.

Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost governance.
