Job Specifications
The AI/ML Lead will define and execute the organization's artificial intelligence and machine learning strategy. This role involves leading a team of scientists and engineers to research, design, and deploy innovative AI/ML solutions that drive business impact. The ideal candidate combines technical depth in AI modeling with leadership experience in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and AI-driven systems for production environments.
Develop and implement the company's AI strategy aligned with business goals.
Architect scalable AI/ML systems and oversee model lifecycle management from research to deployment.
Build and mentor a high-performing AI/ML team, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and cloud specialists to integrate ML components into broader technology stacks.
Stay current with advancements in AI, including generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and deep learning techniques, and evaluate their applicability.
Establish governance frameworks around data quality, model fairness, and responsible AI usage.
Present insights, model outputs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders in clear and actionable terms.
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for all AI/ML initiatives
Qualifications
Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in AI/ML development, including at least 3 years of leadership in technical teams.
Proven expertise in deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or generative AI.
Strong programming experience in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
Hands-on experience deploying models to production through cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Deep understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and MLOps best practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into business outcomes.
Desired Skills
Experience leading AI strategy and roadmap development in mid-to-large scale enterprises.
Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), vector databases, and prompt engineering.
Strong foundation in algorithmic problem solving, statistics, and mathematics.
Knowledge of data ethics, explainable AI, and responsible AI practices.
