Job Specifications

We are seeking experienced Senior Data Engineer (with Power BI expertise) at Glasgow

Please Note: No VISA Sponsorship.

Senior Data Engineer (with Power BI expertise)

Location: Glasgow

Duration: 8 Months

Hybrid work - 2 to 3 days a week onsite mandatory

(Eligibility : Should be eligible for SC Clearance)

Senior Data Engineer (with Power BI expertise)

Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
Architect and optimise enterprise-grade data models and warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
Own data quality, lineage, and observability standards across multiple systems.
Implement and enforce secure data governance, access control, and compliance with data protection standards.
Drive automation of data pipelines and infrastructure through CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure performant and trusted datasets.
Evaluate and introduce new data engineering tools and practices.
Desirable: experience with PySpark, AWS Glue, or other distributed/big-data frameworks.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy and standards.
