Contract Network Engineer (Warwickshire) - 6-9 Months

We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our global IT team on a contract basis. If you’re passionate about keeping complex networks secure, stable, and high-performing - and you thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment - this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

What you’ll do

Take ownership as the primary ISE Administrator, supporting global network infrastructure.
Install, configure, and maintain data centre hardware and software across LAN/WAN environments - including switches, routers, firewalls, DHCP, and IP addressing.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise networks across circuits, VPNs, firewalls, wireless access points, and Application Centric Infrastructure.
Develop and test disaster recovery plans, ensuring network resilience.
Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and best practices.
Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and ensure SLA targets are met.
Partner with colleagues across IT to improve service delivery and drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience with Cisco and Meraki networking hardware and software — including ACI, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Wireless.
Strong ISE administration expertise.
Familiarity with Azure Cloud networking.
Bonus points for Juniper or Cisco certifications and Python scripting experience.
A collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The ability to manage priorities, stay organised, and deliver under pressure.

The details

Contract role, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30 (some out-of-hours work may be required).
Reporting to the EMEA IT Manager.
Occasional travel across EMEA for key support or project work.
