About Us

Parthenon Global Systems is a technology company that develops and operates its own software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms supporting government and healthcare operations across Ohio and Wisconsin. Our dynamic team builds and maintains mission-critical systems that are used daily by state agencies, regional offices, and service providers. These platforms generate large volumes of data, and we are looking for a talented Intern to help us make sense of it.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team and support real-world data analysis projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys exploring large datasets, uncovering insights, and presenting findings in a clear, visual way.

In this role, you will work with large files to identify anomalies, patterns, trends, and usable records, and help translate raw data into actionable insights. You’ll use tools like SQL or Python to query, clean, and analyze data and present results with clear visualizations. The ideal candidate will have an analytical background and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This internship provides hands-on experience and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on real-world projects.

What You’ll Do

Ingest and process large, complex data files from various sources.
Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors in data.
Discover patterns, correlations, and insights that inform decision-making.
Isolate usable, high-quality records from raw datasets.
Create graphs, charts, and visual reports to communicate findings clearly.
Work closely with project leads to understand data goals and deliver results.

What We’re Looking For

Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Comfort of working independently and managing tasks autonomously.
Basic knowledge of data visualization tools or libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) is a plus.
Coursework or project experience in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
