Position Overview
The Full-Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications for Tracker Technologies' software platforms. This role requires expertise in both frontend and backend development, working with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that serve major global energy companies.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Full-Stack Developer will work on both greenfield projects and enhancements to existing platforms, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js and C#/.NET
Build and optimize RESTful APIs using Express.js, Node.js, and ASP.NET Core for enterprise-scale applications
Develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces using React and modern frontend frameworks
Design & implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations for MySQL & Oracle databases
Integrate applications with OCI and AWS services including Lambda, S3, and SQS
Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and AWS Cognito
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions
Collaborate with DevOps to containerize applications using Docker
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the full technology stack
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Contribute to API documentation and maintain technical documentation
Participate in team meetings including daily standups, planning sessions, and retrospectives
Job Requirements
10+ years of professional full-stack senior development experience.
Expertise in the core stack: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Solid experience with C# and ASP.NET Core development.
Proven experience building and deploying production REST APIs (deep understanding of architecture and design patterns).
Experience with Database & ORM: Hands-on with MySQL or other relational databases, including Sequelize and/or Entity Framework (Oracle DB preferred).
Experience with Cloud & Infrastructure: Docker and containerized apps, practical knowledge of AWS (Lambda, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation) / OCI / (Azure Functions, Kubernetes preferred).
Experience with Authentication & Security: JWT/OAuth and ASP.NET Core Identity (preferred), and general security best practices.
Preferred Skills: React-admin, React Native with Expo (Mobile), PowerBI Services, Microsoft Graph API, and Dependency Injection.
Problem-solving mindset, excellent communication, ability to work collaboratively, self-motivated with strong attention to detail and quality.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
