Technology Consultant / Analyst

Location: Belfast, UK

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in office)

Contract Duration: 1 year (extendable based on performance)

Security Clearance Required: BPSS or SC (must already be completed)

Experience: Minimum 4+ years

Core Technical Skills

System Administration Expertise in:

Storage: Dell Powermax, VPLEX, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switches
Backup: EMC Data Domain, Networker, ECS
Operating Systems: VMware, Linux/Red Hat

Role Responsibilities

Perform installations, configurations, migrations, operational support, patching, and on-call duties.
Monitor and manage storage system components (volumes, LUNs, disks, logs).
Handle Incident, Change, Problem, and Capacity Management processes.
Plan and execute Disaster Recovery activities.
Conduct backup management and perform regular health checks.
Monitor performance of storage arrays and ensure controller mirroring consistency.
Perform troubleshooting and proactive system maintenance.
