Manual Test Analyst | Bristol (Hybrid) | Fixed Term Contract 6-12 Months | Up to £45,000
Peaple Talent have partnered with an existing client in Bristol who are recruiting for 3x Software QA Engineer’s.
These are all fixed term contracts, 2 for 6 months and 1 for 12 months.
The successful candidate for this role will be a key contributor in verifying the performance, accuracy, and reliability of applications and data processes within the new CRM platform.
This position focuses primarily on manual testing of systems built on the Microsoft Power Platform, including integrations and data migration components.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain test strategies, scenarios, and execution plans within Azure DevOps, ensuring all project deliverables adhere to the organisation’s established quality standards.
Core Competencies and Expertise
The role requires a professional with solid hands-on experience in manual software testing and test management. The candidate should demonstrate a strong grasp of QA methodologies, an analytical mindset, and exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Azure DevOps is critical, and prior experience testing enterprise-level systems and data migration processes is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, organize, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases using Azure DevOps.
Support other quality or project-related activities.
Conduct manual verification of integrated systems to ensure they operate as intended.
Recommend improvements to testing workflows and contribute to the continuous enhancement of QA standards.
Assess and validate data migration outputs, confirming data integrity and completeness.
Ensure all QA processes align with organizational security, compliance, and quality policies.
Perform functional and regression testing of the new CRM solution to verify alignment with business and technical requirements.
Prepare and deliver detailed test summaries, reports, and progress updates to project management.
Record, categorize, and track software defects, coordinating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Partner with stakeholders to interpret testing needs and align test outcomes with overall project goals.
Key Experience Required:
Demonstrated background in manual testing, including designing test plans, executing test cases, and managing defects.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, project leads, and business stakeholders.
Proficient in Azure DevOps for test documentation, tracking, and reporting.
High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality excellence.
Experienced in functional testing of complex enterprise platforms and integrated applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Knowledgeable in data migration testing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated datasets.
Skilled in identifying, logging, and monitoring issues through to resolution.
