MaxSys Staffing & Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester to support a large-scale public sector web content management and application modernization initiative. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for a bilingual QA professional with deep expertise in testing mission-critical, enterprise-wide systems in secure government environments.

About the Role

As a senior QA Analyst/Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, accessibility, and performance of enterprise web platforms and applications. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to design, execute, and document test strategies, helping to deliver secure, high-quality solutions that support essential public-facing and internal programs.

Key Contract Details

Location: Ottawa, ON / Hybrid
Duration: 3 years
Security Clearance: Secret (mandatory)
Language: Bilingual – English and French (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios for regression, integration, and accessibility testing.
Validate enhancements to enterprise web platforms, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.0 and Web Experience Toolkit (WET) standards.
Perform QA testing on .NET web applications, content management systems, and distributed environments.
Track and document issues using DevOps and recommend process improvements.
Support defect management, prepare QA reports, and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings and ensure deliverables meet security, functionality, and accessibility requirements.

Must-Have Qualifications

Bilingual – advanced proficiency in English and French.
Valid Secret security clearance.
Minimum 10 years of IT Quality Assurance experience with extensive hands-on testing.
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Proven experience with system integration and regression testing on mission-critical .NET web-based applications.
Experience testing Web Experience Toolkit (WET 4.0) widgets and ensuring WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance.
Strong background in QA within geographically distributed environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with OpenText TeamSite and OpenDeploy platforms.
Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps, Power BI, or automated testing tools.
Previous QA experience within large public sector programs.
