Software Developer

Salary: £50,000 to £65,000

Location: Egham | Two Days a week onsite

The Role

As a Software Developer, you’ll be at the heart of building scalable software that drives real-world results. You’ll design, code and deploy .NET solutions that keep customers moving, while working closely with product, QA and support teams to deliver clean, reliable and high-performing software.

Along with other .NET Developers You’ll have ownership over projects from concept to release, using the latest tools and frameworks to evolve a platform that’s critical to modern commerce.

.NET Developer Key Responsibilities

Design and develop .NET applications within a cloud-first SaaS environment
Build, test and deploy services using MSBuild, Octopus and Azure DevOps
Deliver high-quality releases with a focus on performance and scalability
Configure and optimise new customer integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges
Manage your JIRA backlog and contribute to agile delivery cycles
Run SQL queries and provide data insights to support product decisions

.NET Developer Skills & Experience

Strong background in ASP.NET C# (.NET Core / .NET Framework)
Proficient in front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
Skilled in SQL databases and event messaging (e.g. Azure Service Bus)
Experience with web technologies – MVC, Web APIs, REST, XML/JSON
Version control (Git, Azure DevOps) and branching strategies (GitFlow)
Experience of Microservices solutions
