Job Specifications

We are a supporting a cutting-edge Fintech firm at the forefront of Bitcoin innovation, delivering secure and scalable financial services powered by blockchain technology. As a Product Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding their applications, infrastructure, and development pipelines. You'll collaborate across engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into every layer of their technology stack, ensuring resilience against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct code reviews, design assessments, and threat modeling to identify and mitigate risks in our products.
Assess and secure cloud configurations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
Implement automated security controls in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Perform regular vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and drive remediation strategies using tools like Snyk, Qualys, and Nessus.
Collaborate on secure design patterns, conduct static/dynamic code analysis, and validate security controls.
Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to promote a security-first culture.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in application and cloud security
Proficiency with security testing, code reviews, and threat modeling
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience with security scanning tools and IaC security
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Collaborative and team-oriented approach
Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning
Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

This is an onsite role in New York City. Total compensation package is base + equity, sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this role.
