About the role

Zemoso is looking for a Lead Adobe Commerce Cloud Backend Developer to spearhead the backend development and integration of our enterprise ECommerce platform. In this role, you will ensure the robustness, scalability, and performance of our Adobe Commerce Cloud systems while collaborating with front-end teams and implementation partners. This is a key technical leadership position with a clear path to grow into an Architect-level role shaping the future of our ECommerce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems within the Adobe Commerce Cloud environment.
Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Partner with implementation teams for effective knowledge transfer and platform alignment.
Lead and mentor the backend development team, conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
Optimize backend components for speed, scalability, and reliability.
Stay updated on ECommerce and Adobe Commerce Cloud trends, applying best practices and innovations.
Drive technical architecture and direction for the ECommerce platform.
Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience as an Adobe Commerce (Magento) Developer.
Adobe Commerce Cloud/Magento Enterprise: Deep, hands-on experience with the platform.
Strong GraphQL: Essential for API development
Headless Implementation: Proven experience in headless/decoupled architecture.
ERP/Middleware Integration: Experience connecting Commerce with business systems.
Large Dataset Experience (100K+ Products): Focus on scalability and performance.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Experience leading a backend team and code reviews.
Backend Optimization: Proven ability to optimize systems for speed and stability.
Data Security & Compliance: Knowledge of secure coding and e-commerce compliance.
Jira or Azure DevOps: Proficiency in Agile project management tools.
