Technology Director will operate at the intersection of internal stakeholders (ExCo, business lines) and external actors such as FinTechs, regulators, self-authorities, and clients.
The position is deeply tied to digital assets, blockchain, and emerging technologies, requiring someone able to both deliver and represent Euroclear's technological vision externally.

The role blends strategic communication, technical credibility, and delivery excellence - not a pure planner, but a hands-on technology leader who drives execution.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery focus ( 70% of the time) - execute and bring projects to production (especially in regulated environments).
Governance and program management - balance speed and structure within complex innovation frameworks.
Stakeholder engagement - communicate clearly and convincingly with multiple senior audiences (ExCo, regulators, engineers).
Technology insight - understand and challenge discussions on scalability, security, blockchain integration, and new architectures.
Storytelling - simplify complex technology into clear narratives for different audiences.
Ideal Profile
Technical foundation: Computer science or strong IT background; experience leading major tech programs (eg, cloud, blockchain, digital assets).
Industry exposure: Background in FinTech, RegTech, or digital finance environments (eg, Revolut, N26, or similar).
Blockchain understanding: Doesn't need to be a developer but must grasp blockchain's architectural layers and business use-cases.
Strategic communicator: Able to translate tech into business value, structure thoughts clearly, and stay concise.
Collaborative mindset: Avoid arrogance; capable of healthy debate and prioritizing what's best for the company.
