AI Functional Analyst (Freelance) – 5 Weeks – Brussels

About the Role

Our client is launching a high-impact Proof of Concept (POC) to explore the power of Artificial Intelligence within their Salesforce Service Cloud environment. As an AI Functional Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of this initiative, translating business needs into actionable AI use cases and ensuring the POC delivers measurable value for customer care operations. This is a freelance opportunity for 5 weeks, based in Brussels with a hybrid work setup.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead workshops to identify, prioritize, and define high-impact AI use cases for customer care within Salesforce Service Cloud.
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Collaborate closely with developers and AI experts to validate functional specifications and ensure technical feasibility.
Monitor and evaluate the functional progress of the POC, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous improvement.
Document functional requirements, process diagrams, and user guides to support adoption and knowledge transfer.
Define target processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI-driven solutions.
Ensure functional coherence and compliance with business requirements throughout the POC lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or Salesforce Administrator, with recent hands-on involvement in similar projects.
Expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, including case management processes and omnichannel communication flows.
Solid understanding of Agentforce and Einstein GPT functionalities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to model customer and agent journeys.
Experience in data analysis and defining customer support KPIs.
Ownership mindset: you take initiative, drive outcomes, and thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.

Technical Skills

Salesforce Service Cloud (Expert level)
Agentforce and Einstein GPT (Intermediate to advanced understanding)
Business analysis and process modeling
Data analysis and KPI definition for customer support
Documentation and user guide creation

Language Proficiency

Dutch or French: Native or bilingual proficiency required
English: Nice to have

Other Requirements

Recent experience in a similar role (within the current year)
Hybrid work model (onsite in Brussels and remote)
Freelance contract for a 5-week engagement
