About the role

For this particular role, our client is already a HashiCorp client on Vault and Terraform and is seeking a DevOps Expert with in-depth expertise in Terraform Enterprise (TFE) and Sentinel. The role involves acting as a coach and mentor to existing DevOps teams, helping them strengthen their technical capabilities and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a consulting-engineer mindset — capable of providing high-level technical guidance, architecture insight, and hands-on support when necessary, while avoiding a purely executional or individual contributor role.

This position requires strong expertise particularly in policy-as-code with Sentinel, infrastructure automation, and DevOps governance models. The client values consultants who are comfortable being technically challenged and who can articulate and defend their technical choices with clarity and confidence.

Location: for the first 3 months the presence onsite is necessary in Strasbourg, after 3 months the role is fully remote, with a couple of months travelling to Strasbourg policy (travel expenses are being reimbursed).

Languages: fluent in French and English.

Strong knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.
Hands-on experience with policy-as-code with Sentinel.
Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
