Job Specifications

You will join a successful international insurance company who specialise in commercial insurance and reinsurance products. The team are looking for an experienced Operations Performance Lead to design and manage a global performance framework that translates strategy into measurable outcomes. This role will ensure operational efficiency, service quality, and cost optimisation across multiple regions. Reporting to the Head of Operations Excellence, you will lead initiatives that drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a global operations performance framework aligned to strategic objectives.
Define and implement KPIs and reporting tools for operational health and accountability.
Lead forecasting, capacity planning, and scenario modelling to optimise resources.
Oversee performance governance, SLA reviews, and supplier scorecards.
Drive root-cause analysis and improvement programmes across regions.
Manage quality assurance frameworks and integrate customer experience metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decisions.
Lead and develop a high-performing performance team.
Benefits:

Salary up to £100,000 + 17.5% bonus

Requirements:
Proven experience in operations performance, analytics, or workforce planning in a global insurance environment.
Experience designing and operating performance management frameworks, management reporting, forecasting and capacity planning at scale
Strong analytical skills with expertise in BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik) and advanced Excel.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
Commercial awareness and ability to link operational metrics to cost/value impact.
