Instrument and Electrical engineer Contract Nov Dec 2025 Start Offshore Oil&Gas

Due to a recent FPSO project award 15th Dec we are looking for an Instrument and Electrical engineer to start asap

1. Design & Engineering

Develop and review electrical and instrumentation design deliverables, including:
Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
Cable Block Diagrams and Routing Layouts
Instrument Loop Diagrams, Hook-Up Drawings, and Wiring Schematics
Lighting, Earthing, and Power Distribution layouts
I/O lists and Cause & Effect Diagrams
Perform load calculations, voltage drop, and short-circuit analysis.
Design control and automation systems, integrating PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems for offshore applications.
Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards (e.g., IEC, ATEX, API, BS, NORSOK).
Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and equipment specifications.

2. Technical Documentation

Prepare and review technical datasheets, specifications, and material requisitions for electrical and instrumentation equipment (motors, transformers, MCCs, transmitters, analyzers, control panels, etc.).
Support the development of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Control Narratives.
Review and approve vendor documentation (drawings, test procedures, GA drawings).
Maintain document control and revision tracking in alignment with project procedures.

3. Interface & Coordination

Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, and structural disciplines to ensure seamless integration of E&I systems.
Interface with vendors, third-party inspectors, and clients to resolve technical queries (TQs) and ensure compliance.

Desirables Previous Experience:

- From oil and gas industry

- FPSO/FSO experience is a plus
