AI Solution Engineer (Product Owner Focus)

We are a rapidly growing AI enterprise focused on empowering businesses to deploy conversational, AI-powered phone agents at scale. We are looking for a unique individual to join us as an AI Solution Engineer. This role is a hybrid of Solutions Engineering and Product Management, where you will effectively become the product owner of each customer's onboarding journey.
You will own the end-to-end implementation for new enterprise customers, ensuring they rapidly achieve a fully functional, high-impact AI-driven solution. You will blend deep technical expertise with strong product thinking to translate business goals into tangible, measurable AI experiences.
What You'll Do:
Drive a 14-Day Launch Cycle: Treat every customer onboarding as a micro "product launch." Your goal is to deliver a polished, AI-powered phone agent ready for production within two weeks, ensuring it meets the customer's key business metrics
Own the Product Vision (Per Deployment): Collaborate closely with customers to define their strategic objectives, success criteria, and operational context. You will translate these into a clear, prioritized deployment plan, treating each implementation like a well-scoped Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
Architect Technical Integrations: Work hands-on with APIs, webhooks, and databases to seamlessly integrate our platform into the customer's existing technical environment, ensuring secure and smooth data flow
Shape Conversational Experiences: Guide the creation and refinement of voice prompts, conversation flows, and call pathways. You will apply prompt engineering techniques combined with user-focused product sense to design natural, brand-aligned interactions
Iterate, Adapt, and Communicate: Act as a central communication hub, providing weekly status updates, proactively managing timelines, mitigating risks, and aligning internal and external stakeholders around the deployment roadmap
Unlock Future Value: Identify new use cases, feature opportunities, and expansion potential as customers gain confidence, ensuring the initial deployment leads to a long-term strategic partnership
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with product ownership instincts and a strong desire to drive customer outcomes
2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles and/or product management roles. Relevant backgrounds include:
Solutions Engineering with strong product instincts
Product-minded Software Engineering
Ex-Product Manager eager to work hands-on with code and APIs
Founder, or any role that proves you can own a customer-facing build from 0 to production
Proven ability to translate high-level business objectives into concrete, technical deployment plans
Strong understanding of API integrations, data flows, and modern web services
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage expectations and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders
This is an on-site position located in San Francisco, CA

Competitive Salary: Base salary ranging from $120,000 - $175,000
Meaningful Equity: Significant equity compensation, ranging from :$70,000 to $150,000 on top of the base salary, depending on experience
