We are seeking a driven and experienced IT Project Manager for a 12 month contract to join our dynamic team at IPH Limited in Ottawa!
The IT Project Manager at IPH has a pivotal role, being responsible for the analysis, implementation, and optimization of various business systems that provide high value to our Canadian firms. This position is central to the deployment of new software and the improvement of business processes.
The selected candidate will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, establish project timelines, and ensure the successful delivery, budget and integration of IT solutions. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as the position involves both hands-on project execution and user support.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of strategic IT and business projects across the firms in Canada.
Establish project schedules and monitor IT project execution activities.
Coordinate IT requirements with all stakeholders, internal and external.
Conduct gaps analysis, risk assessments and contingency plans.
Perform operational and strategic analyses to optimize business processes.
Ensure proper integration of information systems.
Lead coordination meetings and backlog prioritization sessions.
Produce project reports and all other required documentation
Provide standards and governance support to minor initiatives operating without a PM in a PMO capacity
Lead projects withing IPH using the project management pack guideline.
Track, document, and update budgets, ensuring change management for each project.
Plan the management of resources, such as computer equipment and employees, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Facilitate business process optimization and communicate business changes to stakeholders.
Manage project post-mortems and creating recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Manage transitions from projects to operational support (BAU).
Stay abreast of new technology products and advancements in the IT industry. Vendor Management
Coordinate projects activity related to the vendors and ensured delivery is on time including the quality and financial aspects.
Ensure project delivery meets the requirements of the security team and appropriate security design is performed.

Education & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related relevant field.
Minimum seven to ten (7-10) years of experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role.
Demonstrated experience implementing large-scale software (ERP, MRP, CRM, finance systems, software development, etc.).
Experience in global organizations with multi-location operations.
Deployed large project frame across a company
Demonstrated experience managing projects in Agile/Scrum mode.
Knowledge of JIRA, ADO, MS Project, Microsoft Planner or similar tools.
Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, an asset.
PMP, Scrum Master, and ITIL certifications are considered assets.
