Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Reporting Specialist with strong engineering skills to support our client in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality data solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in ETL development with strong business acumen, ensuring that data is transformed into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & ETL Development

Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient data processing.
Maintain and enhance existing data flows, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability.
Collaborate with technical teams and business units to integrate new data sources.

Business Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration

Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify data and reporting requirements.
Translate business needs into scalable and maintainable data solutions.
Act as a trusted partner to provide guidance on data usage, KPIs, and reporting best practices.

Data Visualization & Reporting

Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics, and other visualization tools.
Ensure insights are presented clearly, accurately, and tailored to business needs.
Support end-users in understanding and leveraging reports for decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in a data engineering, reporting, or analytics role with exposure to both technical and business-facing responsibilities.
Strong expertise in SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS EG) and SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA).
Proficiency with Tableau for data visualization.
Experience with SAP environments is a strong plus (but not mandatory).
Solid understanding of ETL methodologies, data modeling, and data quality principles.
Ability to work independently as a freelancer while engaging effectively with distributed teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
