Quality Assurance Test Manager

Location: Flexible across the UK

Salary Range: £50,199 - £53,101 per annum (plus ILW, £3,344, if residing & working in London) (DOE)

Hours: 35 per week

18 Months Fixed Term Contract

The British Red Cross are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Test Manager. Are you passionate about driving quality in technology delivery? A day in the life of our QA Test Manager

Champion and uphold testing frameworks, standards, and processes across all delivery teams.
Collaborate with project teams to elevate testing competency and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Lead test execution alongside delivery teams, taking full accountability for successful completion to expected quality benchmarks.
Oversee external testing vendors—selecting top talent and ensuring alignment with best practice our standards.
Own the testing budget: review allocations, manage supplier costs, and ensure financial efficiency across projects.

To be a successful QA Test Manager, you’ll need:

A strong quality assurance and testing background.
Strong stakeholder engagement. Ability to work with numerous teams who have different interests, priorities and physical locations.
Proven experience of implementing project test quality assurance frameworks.
Proven experience in designing of test processes and templates.
Experience with Jira, DevOps toolset or similar tools. Plus, Knowledge of different project management methodologies, like Agile.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities; to think creatively and solve problems.
