IT Support Engineer – Device Migration (SC Cleared)

Location: Onsite - Hereford, UK

Contract: 3 months(with a view to extend)

Pay Rates: £25.15/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking an SC Cleared IT Support Engineer to assist with a large-scale device migration project for a secure defence site in the Hereford area. This hands-on role involves setting up and supporting the migration of laptops within a structured and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the setup of a refresh clinic for laptop migration.
Move and prepare IT equipment from storage to deployment areas as instructed.
Build, refresh, and configure laptops following documented processes.
Update workflow management systems accurately at every stage.
Conduct daily stock checks and report findings to the site manager.
Ensure all devices are securely stored at the end of each day.
Work collaboratively with onsite engineers and technical support staff.

Requirements

Active SC Clearance (essential).
Experience in IT deployment, hardware refresh, or early-life support roles.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to security and process standards.
Willingness to work on a secure military site.
