EPM Scientific are currently partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company who are seeking a Freelance Medical Science Liaison to support their Infectious Disease studies in France. See a short summary below:

Project Overview

Therapeutic Area(s): Infectious Disease & ICU
Location: South & West France
Contract: Freelance - 6 Month Initial Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Language Requirements: French, English

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, clinical investigators, and other healthcare professionals.
Serve as a reliable source of unbiased, up-to-date scientific and medical information in infectious disease areas. Working with first-line antibiotics.
Collect and communicate strategic insights from scientific exchanges to inform research and commercial strategy.
Support clinical trial activities including site feasibility, initiation visits, and patient recruitment strategies.
Represent external expert perspectives internally and identify opportunities for collaborative research or strategic partnerships.
Apply strategic thinking and prioritization to maximize impact while ensuring compliance with all relevant medical affairs policies and procedures.

Requirements

Strong experience (5+ years preferred) in Medical Affairs, ideally within Infectious Disease/Infectiology.
Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or pharmacy.
Strong understanding of infectious diseases in ICU patients.
Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Willingness to travel within France for field visits and scientific engagement.
