Job Specifications

Data Engineer to join a leading brand in Wolverhampton to design and deliver data solutions within their Minerva Platform.

Long term contract, excellent rates & hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver data solutions using Pentaho, Denodo, Talend, and SAS.
Build scalable data pipelines to power analytics and BI platforms.
Work closely with teams to define and implement technical solutions.
Apply Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices for smooth delivery and automation.
Ensure strong data quality, governance, and security.
Troubleshoot and optimize data processes and performance.

Key Skills

SAS 9.4 (DI), SAS Viya 3.x (Studio, VA, VI)
Pentaho, Talend, Denodo, strong SQL and data modeling
GIT, Jira, LSF, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps
Oracle (nice to have)

The ideal candidate will be based in Telford, Birmingham, Coventry, Stratford Upon Avon, Worchester, Loughborough, Tamworth & other neighbouring towns.
