Job Description

Project Scope:

We are looking for bilingual voice talents, split into pairs of individuals who speak the same two languages fluently (French - France and any other second language).

To apply, you must also have a partner who will need an Upwork account. Each pair will be recording 50 hours of conversation. The conversation will be a mix of 75% scripted content and 25% ad-libbed. The recordings will be used exclusively for background data purposes and will not have public-facing usage (no voice cloning or broadcasting).

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

Each pair must speak the same two languages fluently, one of which must be French.

Recording Requirements:

Audio Quality: All recordings must meet the following technical specifications:
File format: .wav
Sample rate: 48 kHz
Bit depth: 24 bit
Uncompressed/raw format
No unacceptable technical imperfections (dropouts, distortions, interruptions, background noise).
On a best-effort basis, minimize speech artifacts such as clicks, hums, mouth clicks, throat clearing, or pops.

Additional Information

Auditions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and we aim to begin casting as soon as possible.

Project Completion: Each pair must complete their 50 hours of recording within 3-4 weeks from their hire date. Our goal is to wrap up the project by early October. If you apply, we assume you and your partner are willing and able to commit to this timeline.

Compensation:

Please propose a total amount for 50 hours of finished audio per person. Average rate for this project is $2,000 per person for 50 hours of finished audio.

Each audition should demonstrate fluency in both languages. So please make sure to submit auditions in both languages that you will be completing.
