Senior Coordinator, Site Merchandising
Responsibilities:
Site Merchandising Strategy: Assist in the planning and management of tarte.com e-commerce content & merchandising including site assets, product assortment & storytelling and product sort order to drive conversion rate and AOV.
Key owner of homepage and content strategy including all sections of homepage, content slots across site, working with cross-functional partners.
Assist in driving business growth by creating best-in-class digital experiences for each product category.
Content pages: Works with brand marketing team on content pages focused on key brand priorities, maintaining content pages based on key brand moments. Includes briefing, set up, testing, overall execution.
Partner closely with the creative team to request and give feedback on creative assets that are needed to support site revenue goals.
Working closely with engineering & QA to ensure the strategy is executed in a way that meets business goals & customer expectations.
E-Commerce Customer Experience: Partner with marketing teams to deliver a best-in-class experience through personalization, product quizzes, navigation updates, daily site updates, site content/enhancements & marketing activations & promotions.
Manage site search experience, optimizing searches for new launches, existing experiences and new quizzes.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize website analytics & customer data to identify opportunities for improvement & make data-driven decisions to enhance site performance - i.e. leveraging historical & current search trends to drive strategy for the marketing calendar & category optimizations on site. Regularly report on KPIs & site metrics.
Utilize customer feedback to create actionable takeaways to optimize customer pain points, collaborating with relevant partners.
Tech-Driven Partnerships: Key driver of release process for overall site merch team working with Release Manager to ensure content is deployed on time.
Prioritize requirements and features directly with the development team to ensure a scalable storefront tailored to business needs.
Able to concisely articulate requests/priorities with engineering and product teams
Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a partner to Digital & Brand Marketing, Planning, Creative, Operations, Engineering, QA, Customer Experience and Digital Product Management Teams.
Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors' strategies, & emerging e-commerce technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
You understand that ecommerce is a 24/7, always-on business, and flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends is essential to support key launches, campaigns, and site moments.
Minimum of 3 years of experience at a fast-paced, digital-first ecommerce brand where you have worn multiple hats and thrived in a dynamic environment.
You are a true unicorn, equally comfortable speaking the language of creative marketers and technical engineers.
You have a "figure it out" mindset and approach challenges with a self-starter attitude. You are proactive and resourceful when facing obstacles, take initiative, and dive in to experiment with solutions. You enjoy learning by doing!
You love data and can analyze performance metrics to uncover insights that drive action and optimization.
You are confident and poised when presenting to senior leadership, including members of the C-suite.
You can take direction from multiple stakeholders, distill competing priorities, and stay focused on the ultimate goal while proactively seeking clarification and alignment when needed.
You have strong attention to detail: you spot what others might miss and ensure every product story, image, and description is picture-perfect.
You are a highly organized multitasker who can juggle timelines, assets, and launches without missing a beat. You can execute ad hoc requests for site updates in a timely manner, while balancing day-to-day responsibilities & maintaining qualify.
You are comfortable voicing your perspective on new projects or site changes, blending the user experience & data-driven reasoning
