Job Specifications

Title: Full Stack Web Developer with Data Skills

Type: 6-Month Contract

Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Only / No Sponsorship / No C2C / No Exceptions)

Hourly/Contract Rate: $70 - $90/hour, depending on relevant experience.

Summary:

We’re looking for a Full Stack Web Developer with a solid foundation in Python and experience working with data-driven applications to be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining modern web applications (end-to-end), from scalable backend APIs to polished front-end interfaces.

Qualifications & Requirements:

2–5+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend-heavy web developer.
Proficiency with Python (Django, Flask, or Fast API).
Experienced with relational databases (MS SQL & MySQL).
Solid understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern framework, such as React or Vue).
Experience with data handling, ETL processes, and integrating applications with data sources.
Strong familiarity with Version Control (Git) and CI/CD Pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly (clients need to quickly understand them and be able to collaborate with team members).
Someone who can live in the grey (for example, not all requirements need to be in a well-refined user story - sometimes we need to be able to proceed with guidance).
Experience developing, testing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications (front-end and back-end).
Experience building and optimizing APIs and services using Python and modern frameworks.
Experience working with databases and data pipelines, ensuring applications handle data efficiently and securely.
Experience implementing intuitive responsive UI components with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or similar.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications (front-end and back-end).
Build and optimize APIs and services using Python and modern frameworks.
Work with databases and data pipelines, ensuring applications handle data efficiently and securely.
Implement intuitive, responsive UI components with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems with a focus on performance and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable code with clear documentation and testing.
