Your Opportunity
Join our Smart Services Engineering team for a 12-week summer internship and work on real-world data science projects that impact millions of users globally. You'll gain hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and model deployment, while collaborating with engineers and analysts across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and insights
Build and test predictive models using machine learning techniques
Support the development of data pipelines and automation tools
Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into production systems
Who You Are
A current undergraduate student (penultimate year preferred) studying Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Proficient in Python, R, or similar programming languages
Familiar with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
Comfortable working with SQL and cloud-based data platforms
Analytical, curious, and eager to solve real-world problems
Eligible to work in the UK and available full-time from May to August 2026
Preferred (but Not Essential) Skills
Experience with time-series analysis or anomaly detection
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Exposure to MLOps or DevOps practices
