Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Java Developer for a contract position located on-site in Plano, TX. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Java applications in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in core Java, Spring frameworks, REST APIs, and working with relational databases.

This opportunity is best suited for developers who can work 100% on-site and are available for in-person interview in TX

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications

Work with Spring Boot/Spring MVC to build RESTful APIs and backend services

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, QA, and business analysts

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in development

Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following coding standards

Maintain technical documentation related to application architecture and development

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of professional Java development experience

Experience in developing Microservices using Spring Boot.

Migration experience from Monolithic Architecture to Microservice Architect.

Experience using Java JSON to create microservices RESTful services.

Experience with version control tools such as Git.

Experience with react

Experience with XP Principles, including TDD and continuous deployment. Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills on highly complex problems; technical agility.

Experience with API testing, load and performance test tools like JMeter, Postman.

Knowing Splunk, ELK for searching, analyzing and visualizing data generated by application.

Knowing functioning of containerization tools like Kubernetes, Docker.

Knowing tools like Quantum Metrics and IBM Tealeaf to capture user experience on websites.

Knowledge JUNIT Mockito.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
