What You’ll Be Driving
You’ll play a critical role ensuring their OTM Fleet Management ecosystem runs fast, clean, and scalable. Expect to work across config, performance tuning, integrations, and fleet operations.
Your core responsibilities:
Configure & enhance OTM components: agents, workflows, statuses, route groups
Build high-performing PL/SQL: stored procedures, triggers, heavy-duty optimization
Integrate OTM with: web services, XML, middleware, telematics/ELD systems
Monitor and troubleshoot application/server issues, logs, thread behavior, environment stability
Investigate and solve performance bottlenecks in integrations, agents, and workflows
Diagnose thread management issues — delays, deadlocks, contention
Perform database tuning + table optimization for high-volume fleet operations
Work with sysadmins/DBAs on load balancing, patching, upgrades
Apply strong transportation domain knowledge: truckload ops, fleet optimization, compliance
Develop reporting via BI Publisher and Tableau
Conduct fit-gap analysis and design scalable OTM fleet solutions
What You Need to Bring
This role demands someone who knows OTM Fleet inside and out.
You should have:
Deep hands-on expertise with OTM Fleet Management modules
(driver mgmt, dispatch, power unit/equipment tracking, workflows)
Strong understanding of OTM’s data model + fleet-specific tables
Advanced configuration skills: agents, workflows, events, automation logic
Proven background in performance tuning OTM environments
PL/SQL mastery: debugging, optimization, handling huge transaction loads
Strong troubleshooting chops for deadlocks, agent delays, thread issues
Experience with capacity planning and architecting scalable environments
A problem-solving mindset that thrives on complex technical challenges
Bonus: Familiarity with OTM Cloud migration paths and roadmaps
