Eligibility Requirement
This internship is strictly for university students whose degree programme includes a compulsory internship or industrial placement. Role Overview
City Explorer is seeking a Creative and Social Media Assistant to support the organisation's marketing, design, and communication activities. This role assists in producing digital visuals, managing social media content, preparing promotional materials, and supporting brand consistency across all creative outputs. It is suited for candidates with strong design skills and an interest in digital content creation and social media strategy.
Responsibilities
• Assist in creating digital graphics for social media, marketing, and internal campaigns
• Produce visual content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and the City Explorer platform
• Support the creation of promotional materials for City Explorer
• Assist in developing brand aligned visual concepts and creative ideas
• Support the scheduling and posting of social media content
• Assist in preparing design assets for campaigns
• Help edit short form videos for marketing purposes
• Coordinate with the Managing Director and marketing team on content planning
• Maintain and organise visual assets, design files, and brand materials
Requirements
• Strong graphic design skills
• Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar design tools
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Understanding of social media platforms and digital trends
• Ability to create clean, brand aligned visual content
• Strong organisational and creative thinking skills
• Clear communication and attention to detail
• Able to work on site in Hayes (UB3 4DX) from 08:00 to 17:00
• Must have the legal right to live and work full time in the United Kingdom
• City Explorer does not provide sponsorships, visas, or work permits
Progression
This is a six month internship. High performing interns may be considered for a full time position within the organisation after the internship.
