Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Azure Databricks Data Engineer to join a major data-driven project for a leading logistics company in Antwerp. The successful candidate will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and solutions using Azure Databricks, ensuring high performance and scalability for business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Databricks and related Azure services
Develop and optimize ETL processes for large-scale data integration
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with company standards
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in data workflows

Requirements

Strong experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse)
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks
Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles
Ability to work on-site in Antwerp as required
Language: French OR Dutch (mandatory)
Freelance availability for 12 months
